Project Description:

This banking application will enable the customers to use the Web site of a bank to
perform banking transactions online.

The banking application has the following functionalities: The application enables
an user to open an account with the bank, enables an account holder to register to use
the application, log on to the banking Web site after entering their login details, view
their account details, modification of any personal details such as address or phone
number, provides utilities such as an interest calculator and a foreign exchange
calculator. It also enables a user to apply for different kinds of loans such as Personal
loan, Home loan, Education loan, Auto loan, etc.

Responsibilities:

 Done detailed study of the functional requirements of application.


 Conducted Sanity testing.
 Created and executed functional, integration and regression test cases.
 Prepared Defect Report.
 Tested the over all look and feel of web pages.
 Conducted regression testing.
 Preparing report on the bugs.

Project Description:

The purpose of this project is to automate the activities of Insurance system. It is a web
based application. By using this project a person or customer with out going to the
insurance office will be able to see the Policy info, Bonus info, premium info etc., online.
The entire system is divided into 4 modules.

Chairman: He is the super user of the system. He is the person responsible to define
the policies, terms, bonuses and conditions. So he can view reports like manager
details, Policy details, Agent details, Customer details etc.

Manager: This is one of the important modules of the project. Manager is responsible for
registration of agents and policies, calculating the premium amounts, interests, dues,
bonuses and also agent commissions. He can view reports like policy details, customer
details, agent commissions etc.

Agent: Agent is a mediator between the insurance system and the customer. This
system provides a facility to the agents to view their commissions and their customer
details online.

Customer: He is the main source of IMS. He can view his personal details, premium
details etc.

Responsibilities:

Clear understanding of the Business Requirement Specifications.

 Involved in Manual Testing.


 Involved in Sanity testing and Regression testing.
 Designed and executed the test cases.
 Analyzed Test Results, Interacted with developers and supported developments.
 Conducted functional testing with Valid/Invalid inputs under different scenarios.
