General
The Room Pressure Monitor (PM) is intended to provide intelligent pressure monitoring of isolation room and critical envi-
ronments. Using the latest in microcontroller and sensor technologies the PM can measure extremely small pressures and
display the readings on the local LCD display.
• Green – Safe
• Blue - Unoccupied

TYPICAL WIRING
Ensure proper voltage is available for the PM transformer in the enclosure. Double check all labels and wiring before applying high
voltage. Note: the PM is a 24 VAC low voltage controller. Do not apply any voltage above 24 VAC to controller.
1. Ensure mains (high voltage) power is off and locked out at panel.
2. Connect main power to transformer. Confirm voltage input matches transformer label (either 120 VAC or 277 VAC).
3. Wire 24 VAC hot and common to PM controller. Note the hot and common polarity.
3.
The PM can function in standalone mode (not networked to any building automation systems (BAS)).
When fully setup the PM can be set to monitor POSITIVE or NEGATIVE pressure. Alarms for LOW/HIGH pressure are fully
field configurable.
The PM has 3 primary modes:
Negative/Positive Pressure ALARM - Pressure reading within LOW / HIGH set ALARM!
RED ON
Monitoring (Room Occupied) points +-0.0001” W.C.

Neutral (Room Unoccupied) UNOCCUPIED – Pressure measured but no alarms BLUE OFF

Commissioning of PM
When first powered up (and startup screens have been displayed) the RPI will display: 'PM Awaiting Setup'

Service Menu
The service menu contains all setup and configuration parameters. Each PM ships with factory defaults, but virtually all settings
can be adjusted in the field. All MAIN menus are listed on this page. Use the WIZARD and/or below menus to setup the PM for
your application.

BACnet communication lines MUST NOT be run next to power lines! High voltage lines, VFD's, ballasts and other electrical devic-
es generate noise which can affect the BACnet network reliability. Route BACnet network wires away from these types of devices.
NOTE: The Wizard will force you to go through all settings in order. You can re-run the wizard at any time by going through the
service menu. Once you have gone through the Wizard fully, the PM will reset.

REVERSE
NOTE: This variable cannot be change if a Keyswitch nurse station is connected.
This allows the primary sensor reading to be ajusted to match a manual reading taking during
SENSOR SCALE setup/balancing. It provides a linear scaling of the sensor reading and is the preferred method of
FACTOR adjustment. (range: 0.500-2.000)
Default: 1.000
This allows for the pressure reading to be offset by a fixed amount. This can be used in
conjunction with the sensor scale to provide a 2-point linear calibration (y=mx+b).
In most cases this is not required and should be left at 0.000. Sensor scale is the preferred

method of adjusting the reading.
