LAB SAFETY RULES

1. Conduct yourself in a responsible manner at all times in the laboratory. Keep your personal belongings in the rack.

2.  Follow all written and verbal instructions carefully.  Perform only those experiments authorized by your teacher. Carefully
follow all instructions, both written and oral. Unauthorized experiments are not allowed. If you do not understand a direction
or part of a procedure, ask your teacher before proceeding with the activity.

3. Do not eat food, drink beverages, or chew gum in the laboratory.  Do not use laboratory glassware as containers.

4. Report accidents, injuries and breakage of equipment to instructor immediately.

5. Wear sensible clothing including foot wear.

6. Report any broken plugs or exposed electrical wires to the laboratory instructor immediately.

7. Don’t open casings of CPU, monitor or any other devices without the permission of the laboratory instructor.

8. After completion of experiments switch off kits, measuring devices and shut down computers.
