Mouser Introduces Ecliptek’s 1.2MM X 2.0MM


32.768kHz Crystal Designed for the
IoT Revolution

Costa Mesa, CA – Mouser Electronics is now shipping from stock Ecliptek’s ultra-miniature E3WS
series of SMD tuning fork crystals. This new 32.768kHz crystal series includes a -40°C to +85°C
extended operating temperature range and is now available for remote and portable real time
clocking applications where space is extremely limited. Ideal for contactless technology and PoE
lighting, this versatile watch crystal can be used in critical RTC reference circuits that rely on a
quality clock source. It also fits well into Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, IoT, wearable technology and
industrial timekeeping applications.

“This miniature watch crystal is part of our ongoing effort to support the design community with
products that suit their most challenging applications,” stated Robert Zarrow, VP of Sales and

This new fundamental mode E3WS series is Ecliptek’s smallest 32.768kHz crystal offering. It
operates in parallel resonance with a load capacitance of 12.5pF and has a frequency tolerance
of ±20ppm.

Part number specific information for this product series is integrated into Ecliptek’s interactive
website tools, including the SmartSearch and My Parts List apps. Ecliptek’s advanced self-
service documentation tools provide easy access to Data Sheets, REACH, RoHS, China RoHS,
IPC-1752 Material Declarations, Qualification and Reliability Reports, and Conflict Mineral
