IDMT Curves Tripping Time Formula - Clarifications

The formula below is given in the ralay manual for calculating the tripping time.  Following this formula, the calculated value differs
from the results from tripping time tool on this site.

On examination I notice the following formula from the book "Network Protection & Automation Guide" by ALSTOM.  If we
follow these formula, the tripping time tool is matching.

Kindly give your opinion as to which formula to be used.
