Super Speciality in Theory Notification

The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences notifies students of upcoming super specialty examinations to be held in July 2019. Students must have completed their three year study period to be eligible and have 80% attendance. Exams will include a single 64-page answer booklet with barcode for digital evaluation. Sub: - KNRUHS – Exams – Conduct of Super Speciality examinations in the month


of July, 2019 – Issue of Notification - Regarding.

Ref: - Orders of the Vice – Chancellor, Dated: 30.05.2019.

I am by direction to inform you that the Super Speciality theory examinations are to
be commenced from 23.07.2019.

Eligibility to appear for Super Speciality Examination

1. The Super Speciality students who have been admitted into the Medical colleges
affiliated to KNRUHS in Telangana State, whose admissions are approved by the
KNRUHS during the academic year 2016-17 are eligible to appear examinations in
the month of July,2019.
2. The eligibility for appearing in the Examinations is that the students must complete
three years of study period. They will be eligible to appear for the examination only
after completion of three years of study period (duration of course) as per Medical
Council of India Regulations and 80 % attendance academic year wise.
3. The study period of those candidates who availed maternity leave will be extended
to the extent of maternity leave availed.
4. The study period duration of course of the candidates is extendable in cases of
availed of Medical Leave / Maternity Leave / Any Other Leave / Absence beyond
30 days in each year.

5. The following is the MCI Regulation to be implemented from July,2019 for Super
Specaility examinations appearing students.

A postgraduate student of a postgraduate degree course in broad
specialties/Super Specialties would be required to present one poster presentation,
to read one paper at a national/state conference and to present one research
paper which should be published/accepted for publication/sent for publication
during the period of his postgraduate studies so as to make him eligible to appear
at the postgraduate degree examinations."

Digital Valuation and Providing only single answer booklet without additional
answer booklet
The University is a Digital campus and implementing digital valuation for all
courses. For Super Speciality single answer booklet with 64 writable pages with candidate
specific bar code on each page will be issued to the candidates appearing for examinations
and no additional answer book will be issued to the candidates. The candidates should
answer all the questions in the single answer booklet of 64 writable pages only.

Payment of Examination fee: Rs. 6,000/-


Rs. 300/- Memorandum of Marks Total Rs. 6650/-
Rs.350/- Processing Fee
I. Last Date Without Fine From 05.07.2019 to 10.07.2019.
II. Last Date With a Fine of Rs. 200/- (6650+200) From 11.07.2019 to 14.07.2019.
III. Last Date With a Fine of Rs. 100/- per day (in addition to Rs.6850/-)
From 15.07.2019 to 16.07.2019.
