GRAMMER LESSON PLAN

Assumptions: The students has just covered repored speech and all the past forms
of the verbs and modals.They know Wh- questions.
Anticipated Problems: If I prepare everything properly,I don ‘t think I face any
problem

OBJECTIVES
By the end of the lesson, the students
1) will have covered “indirect speech yes\no questions reporting verb in the past
tence”
2) will have understood essential information from a text

3) will have acquired to use whether\if

WARM-UP
Time: 3 min.
Materials: pictures

What students do:The students look at the pictures and answer this question’’Have
you ever been late for the class?What did you feel?Did the teacher disgrace you?
Grouping: the whole class-pairs
Aims:
- To motivate students to get to the topic.
- To foster their curiosity
- To set the stage for reading the text

STEPS
1) The teacher asks some questions about their experiences
2) The ss answer them
3) The teacher shows a picture of a young girl.
4) The picture is on the board.
5) The Ss will discuss with each other what he is doing there

LEAD-IN TO CONTEXT

- To get the students ready for the text.
- They shouldn’t be aware of that ‘’we are learning grammer’’

3) The teacher asks questions about the reading text “What did Mr.Hill do after
she was late?”.
4) The teacher gets the answers from the students and writes both of them on
the board.
5) The teacher will congratulate the students
