Electronics Component Lesson Plan - Diode

This document provides a detailed lesson plan for a Technology and Livelihood Education class that covers diodes. The objectives are for students to be able to define what a diode is, identify one type of diode, and explain the function of a diode. It outlines the procedures, which include a review of the previous lesson on resistors, drills to test the students' understanding of resistor color codes, and a motivation game. The lesson proper will involve grouping students to research and present on different types of diodes.

1. Activity

 “Before we start I’ll like you

to prepare yourself for a
group reporting or
presentation”

 “You’ll be group into four.

Each group will report one
type of diode. Later after
we discuss what diode is”

 “Don’t be scared, I’m the

one that will provide all the
needed materials from the
information to the manila
paper that each group will
use to present”

 “The only part you’ll do is

to summarize it and
properly execute the
reporting in front with your
whole group”

 “You can do any form of

reporting or any strategy in
delivering the information
to your listener”  Class: Yes, sir

 “Are we ok with that

class?”

function it does?
3. Draw its symbol? (if it

invention was the ancestor
of all electronic tubes, and
this gave birth radio
communications and
electronics industry”
