Benefect® Decon 30 Disinfectant is a safer botanical Suitable for disinfecting hard, nonporous

APPLICATIONS:

General Cleaning & Disinfecting: Decon 30 is ideal for cleaning, disinfecting and
deodorizing in commercial or residential environments. It cleans and sanitizes in 30 seconds
making it a fast and effective product for infection control.

Porous Materials: Effectively eliminates odours produced by odour-causing bacteria, fungi


& other odour-causing organisms on concrete, finished woodwork, trim, sealed wallboard &
carpet. Creates no harsh fumes, and will not leave a harmful residue.

Grey or Black Water (Sewage) Damage: Pre-clean the surface first. Wet the surface
with the spray and leave for 10 minutes. Do not rinse or wipe away.

Mould Remediation: Best used as a wipe application to remove surface moulds and as a
spray after remediation procedure is complete to control any remaining moulds. Should be used
with proper remediation protocols, as all moulds should be removed from affected areas to
ensure health and safety of building occupants.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES
Do not dilute this ready-to-use product.

TO CLEAN: 1. Wet the surface (spot test to check surface compatibility) and wipe clean.

TO DEODORIZE: 1. Wet the surface (spot test to check surface compatibility). 2. Allow to
air-dry. No rinsing or wiping is required.

TO DISINFECT: 1. Wet the surface by sprayer (high or low pressure, hand or power
operated), cloth, sponge or mop (spot test to check surface compatibility). 2. Leave for 10
minutes. Allow to air-dry. No rinsing or wiping is required. For heavily soiled surfaces pre-
cleaning is required

TO SANITIZE: 1. Wet the surface (spot test to check surface compatibility). 2. Leave for
30 seconds. Allow to air-dry. No rinsing or wiping is required.

TO CLEAN AIR DUCTS: Apply the product to the surfaces.

TO DEODORIZE CARPETS: Apply to the pre-cleaned carpet area by wand, sprayer,
extractor, spin bonnet or immersion processes until saturated (spot test fibers for
colorfastness before use). Scrub or agitate the carpet as needed to ensure the test substance is
delivered throughout the carpet pile and backing. Extract & allow to air dry.

To Fog: For fogging contents and surfaces in contained vacant areas as a supplement to
cleaning and disinfection: after setting up fogging device, seal all windows & doors and
leave area for recommended treatment time, according to device manufacturer. After fogging
cycle is complete, fully ventilate treated area. Following re-entry, cleaning & disinfection
directions may be followed.

SPECIAL DIRECTIONS FOR CLEANING & DECONTAMINATING AGAINST HIV on


surfaces/objects where the virus is expected to be encountered such as contamination by
blood or body fluids: Personal Protection: Appropriate contaminant barrier protection should
be worn, such as disposable gloves, gowns & masks. Cleaning Procedures: Bodily fluids
containing HIV must be thoroughly cleaned from surface/objects prior to application of
Benefect Disinfectant. Contact Time/Concentration: Shake well and wet the surface with the
spray (test for surface compatibility first). Leave for 10 minutes. Disposal of Infectious
Materials: All cleaning materials & waste should be autoclaved & disposed of according to
local regulations for infectious waste disposal.
