Title: Jehovah Shammah Christian Community School (JSCCS) Enrollment System


Introduction:

The technology today plays a vital role in our society. It makes man work easier

and fast. It lessens error of work by using machines. It reduces costs to an

organization from paper works up to computerized working system. Many manual

transactions can be computerized by using software applications or computer

systems to make work easier and efficient. Information technology can give a

company ready access to improve product and service quality, reduce costs,

increase productivity in smallest time possible, and communication between

employees and to make things with lesser effort but having a better output and

even improve company morale. The process of enrolment in schools nowadays

requires information technology. The objective of Information Technology is to

help humanity from doing loads of work over time. By having computerized

system, the cost during enrolment will be cut down and much effort will be

reduced.

Rationale: This proposed system, aim to resolve problems of the current system

to modify existing System they have, to bring an accurate and integrated record

and to improve the quality of service. This System was made to lessen the

time and effort exerted by both student and school employees. It is also

made to give accurate reports and keep records of every students every

students and for easy and fast way of enrollment.

Objectives:

The developers aim to develop an Enrollment System that will give more

information with more convenient and less time consumer for the school office

department like registrar or cashier. This proposed system, aim to resolve

problems of the current system to modify existing System they have, to bring an

accurate and integrated record and to improve the quality of service.

Background of the study:

Jehovah Shammah Christian Community School current system in enrollment

process uses manual papers. The students go to the registrar and fill out the

provided form by the registrar. Then the registrar checks and finds the students

information manually in the cabinet. The developers aim to develop an

Enrollment System for Jehovah Shammah Christian Community School that will

give more information with more convenient and less time consuming for the

school office department like registrar or cashier.

Scope:

The developers create and design a login module where in the user is required to

input a valid username and password to access the system. The system can only

be accessed by four (4) of users. Admin, Registrar, Cashier, and Faculty. Where

in only the admin can create a new user information and user level. Enrolment

module is the main module where the admin and Cashier can enroll students by

inputting the enrollee’s information. This module provides the information about

the students, and the user can also update and search the student files in a fast

way. The system is also a transaction processing system. It makes transaction

and receipt. The remaining balance will be saved on database for following

payments this module can only be accessed by the admin and cashier. The

develop system has a management module of faculties and student wherein the

faculty can add a section. The faculty can also compute and print student grades.
