[email protected]
I am reaching to inquire about the position in which you are seeking a highly motivated and
Toano, VA positive dental hygienist. The description stated the necessary qualities were a hygienist who is

https://thackerjess.weebly.com focused on providing exceptional oral health plans as well as monitoring periodontal health by
discussing home care practices. I am positive that I fit this description and I am enclosing my

resume for review.

While completing my training in Thomas Nelson Community College’s Dental Hygiene Program, I
had the opportunity to encounter a diverse population. This allowed me to develop the skills
needed to tackle a multitude of periodontal conditions. My previous experience as a dental
assistant gives me insight into the skills that are needed to be a successful hygienist, such as
time management and the ability to provide quality patient based care on a schedule. I have
excellent interpersonal skills as well as a reassuring presence that can aid in alleviating patient
apprehension. I am confident in my ability use the skills I have developed so far and very eager
about the chance to learn more with your practice.

Thank you for taking the time to consider me for this position. I look forward to hearing from
you to further discuss my opportunity for employment.

Respectfully,
Jessica Thacker
