Step 1: Download Zoom
Download Zoom Client for Meetings application from the following link
https://zoom.us/download
From the above link a file name ZoomInstaller.exe will be downloaded. Click Run to install this
file. Following screen will appear:
Step 2: Signup Zoom
Click Sign In tab of the above screen. This will open up a new window as under, click Sign In
with Google
Choose an email account ****@pau.edu , application will ask for its password to authenticate
user email ID. This will open up zoom application with following screen:
Step 3: Use of Zoom
Sign in will open up new window with under listed options
a. New meeting (To initiate of new meeting)
b. Join (to join a meeting initiated by other)
c. Schedule (To Schedule a meeting with date and time)
d. Share Screen (To share PC screen)
Important Steps:
Step 1
Open the Zoom application.
Depending on whether you wish to host a meeting immediately, or schedule a meeting for later
go to one of the following sections:

Host a Meeting
Click either the Start without video or Start with video button, depending on your needs.
Step 3
Click the Invite button at the bottom of the meeting window.
Step 4
You can share the invitation in a few different ways:
Clicking the Copy URL button, then paste the URL into an email message to the
participants you wish to invite.
Click the Copy invitation button, then paste the message into an email to the participants
you wish to invite.
Click one of the email service buttons. Your chosen email service will appear with a
preformatted invitation.
Step 5
Schedule a Meeting
Click the Schedule button.
Step 6
Enter a meeting title, in the Topic field.
Step 7
In the When options, enter:
Start time
Duration (only 40 minutes allowed for Basic accounts)
Time Zone
Step 8
Choose from the following options:
Video: Host and Participant video appearing when joining a meeting
Audio: Telephone, Voip Only or Both
Step 9
Select additional Meeting Options, including Require meeting password, if desired.
Step 10
Select which Calendar type you wish to create the invitation with.
*Note: Selecting Other Calendars will allow you to copy and paste the meeting information
into any calendar program.

Click the Schedule button.

You meeting will be scheduled.
Click the Copy to clipboard button, then paste the information in your desired calendaring
program in order to invite other participants.
