Series PQ-F00 Characteristics: Power Amplifier For Pumps

This document summarizes a power amplifier module used to control the continuous flow adjustment of axial piston pumps. The amplifier allows flow current to be set by an external command signal and internal limits. It features closed-loop feedback control, adjustable gain and ramping, minimum and maximum settings to maintain the working range, and diagnostics. The module housing installs on a DIN rail and has disconnectable screw terminals.

Power Amplifier for Pumps

Characteristics Series PQ-F00 I-2.1

Application
Electronic module for control of a continuous volume flow
adjustment with position transducer in axial piston pumps
of the PV series.
Flow current can be given by an externally supplied com-
mand signal and internal limitation and ramp potentiom-
eters. In this case, the command signals can be gener-
ated for example by a PLC.

MIN/MAX setting Connection examples

The minimum setting can be used to adjust the lower
working point of a valve.
The maximum setting is used to maintain the input sig-
nal range to the required working range of the valve.
Adjustment sequence:
1. Put input to 0V potential.
2. Adjust bounce value with trimmer “min”.
3. Feed a signal of +10V (or +20mA) to the input
4. Adjust the required maximum value with trimmer
“max”.
Please note that MIN must always be adjusted before
MAX.
