Install using the PeopleNet ProStar Power Assembly (available through PeopleNet Technical Support) or use International
Pins 3573312C1.

Red Wire – Constant Battery Power

 Locate the main fuse panel behind the passenger-side dash cover.
 Identify an unoccupied power cavity, F8-F, F8-H, or F11-C (map located inside dash cover), and remove the
orange plastic locking mechanism.
 Insert the connector side of the PeopleNet ProStar Power Assembly red wire into the selected position and
replace the locking mechanism.
 Splice the PeopleNet ProStar Power Assembly red wire to the red wire on the PeopleNet Main Power Harness.
 Insert a 5 amp fuse in the fuse cavity.

White

Wire – Ignition Power

 Locate the main fuse panel behind the passenger-side dash cover.
 Identify an unoccupied ignition cavity, F5-A, F5-E, or F5-F (map located inside dash cover), and remove the
orange plastic locking mechanism.
 Insert the connector side of the PeopleNet ProStar Power Assembly white wire into the selected position and
replace the locking mechanism.
 Splice the PeopleNet ProStar Power Assembly white wire to the white wire on the PeopleNet Main Power
Harness.
 Insert a 5 amp fuse in the fuse cavity.

Black Wire – Ground

 Open the passenger-side dash cover.


 Locate the black tube below the fuse panel.
 Secure the black lead to this tube using a ring terminal and self-tapping screw.
 Splice the PeopleNet ProStar Power Assembly black wire to the black and shield wires on the PeopleNet Main
Power Harness.
