The Padre Vicente Garcia Memorial Academy held a Teacher's Day event on October 5, 2018 with the theme "Gurong Pilipino: Turo Mo, Kinabukasan Ko". The day included performances by poetry and dance winners for the teachers, as well as releasing balloons with wishes. It cost PHP 6278 to organize and the Student Executive Council coordinated the activities under the guidance of their adviser.

ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT
Name of Organization/Department: Student Executive Council
I. Narrative Report
Last October 5, 2018, Padre Vicente Garcia Memorial Academy held their
Teacher’s day with the theme of “Gurong Pilipino: Turo Mo, Kinabukasan Ko”.
The event started around 8:30 in the morning.

The program began with a prayer led by Leigh Patrick Mamisay, Student
Council Vice President then followed by the singing of National Anthem led
by the Student Council President, Maria Klarissa Dalangin. Afterwards, the
event proceeded to the introduction of PVGMA teachers who walked under
the cross-swords and were given a handmade medal by the Student Council
and Student Executive Council Officers. The teachers then were guided to
their respective seats.

Afterwards, the event moved on to the opening remarks of Mrs. Jocelyn


Barbosa, Junior Highschool Assistant Principal, then followed by the
inspirational message of the school principal, Mr. Jayson O. Gulpan.

The event then proceeded to the splendid and heartfelt performance of


the Spoken Word Poetry Winners and the remarkable dance presentation of
the Cool Steps Movers, respectively. After entertaining and energizing the
audience, the PVGMA teachers were then asked to go to the open space in
front of the stage for releasing of balloons. Each were given a balloon and
instructed to make a wish before letting it go. At the count of three and at
the signal of the masters of the ceremony, the PVGMA teachers release their
balloon as everybody watch and cheer them on. Afterwards, everybody went
back to their previous positions; and at exactly 10:05 in the morning, a
prayer was offered in recognition to the sacrifices and struggles of every
teacher in guiding every individual to the correct path of life.

The prayer for teachers were followed by the awarding of winners of


every contest during the Teacher’s Month Activities. Below are the recipients

After recognizing the winners, the event then moved on to the special
presentation of the teachers. Every student is astonished as they witness
their advisers and subject teachers exhibit their talent when it comes to
Spoken Word Poetry and dance performance. Everyone cheered and show
their support as they shared this heartfelt moment with each other.

The program then ended with the closing remarks of Mr. Nonato M. Arias,
the program coordinator.
