Application/ mounting information:

These frame type yokes are used to distribute the tensile loads of twin bundle conductors equally to the substrings of double tension strings.
The design ensures that
- the substrings take part equally on carrying the conductor tensile load under normal loading conditions
- in case of the breakage of one substring, the load transposition to the remaining string happens without its breakage.

The distance of fall h in case of breakage of one substring, (tranposition of conductor tensile load) is shown in the next figure.

Application/ mounting information:

These yokes are used in triple tension strings to distribute the tensile loads of bundle conductors equally from a central bolt to the substrings. They consist of straps and
plates beeing designed that
- the 3 substrings take part equally on carrying the conductor tensile load under normal loading conditions,
- in case of the breakage of one substring, the load transposition to the 2 remaining strings happens without a breakage of them and
- the 2 remaining strings take part equally on carrying the conductor tensile load when the load transposition is finished (see also sheet B20/5).

To version acc. to fig. 1:

This yoke is determined especially for insulator strings of long rod insulators. It can be used according to the next schedule

If an outside string is broken, the yoke will take the position shown in the next figure. In this case the point of application of the conductor tensile load will move approx. h =
50 mm in the direction of conductor.

If a middle string is broken, the attachment point of if will move about approx. 10 mm in the direction of conductor.
After that a transverse strap (with oblong holes) will stop further movement and the 2 outside strings will equally take over the conductor tensile load.
Take care, that after having finished mounting the transverse strap is movable between the plates.

To the version acc. to fig. 2:

This yoke is only determined for cap and pin type insulator strings.
Due to the big moveability of such insulator string there will no critical loads applied to the remaining substrings if one is broken.
Due to the short design of plates and straps and the not existent transverse strap, the point of application of the conductor tensile load will move much more in the direction
of conductor as in the version according to fig. 1 if one substring is broken.
In case of breaking of the middle string h = 37 mm.
In case of breaking of an outside string h = 99 mm.

These angular straps are used as auxiliary device for installing tension insulator strings on the crossarm. The holes are suitable for connecting bolts according to DIN 48
073.
For the mounting arrangement look at figure 1. The tension rope has to be fixed to one end of the angular straps while on the other end for example an adjustable
extension link could be mounted.
After having finished the stringing works and the fixing of the extension link to the crossarm the angular strap will turn into its normal position after releasing the tension rope
(see fig. 2).
