B. Cite the functions of different parts of Microsoft Excel Window ; and
C. Take and pass the test with a mastery level of 75%.

 Our topic for this morning is all about the
parts of Microsoft excel window.

3. Statement of the aim

 At the end of our lesson I am expecting


you to identify the different parts of excel
window, cite the functions of different
parts of Microsoft Excel Window, take and
pass the exam with a mastery level of 75%.

 Our topic for this morning is about the


different parts of Microsoft Excel
Window.
 So, what are the different parts of  File tab, title bar, window control
Microsoft Excel Window? buttons, ribbon, namebox, formula
bar, cell, active cell, worksheet,
workbook, zoom level and zoom
slider, scroll bar, view buttons.
 What part of an excel window that  Quick Access Toolbar
provides access to the most common
Word commands.
 The part that shows the open program
and the name of the open file is your
title bar.
 If you want to close or minimize or
maximize the window, go to window
control button.
 Your file tab, contains menu such as
save, save as, exit and print.
 A ribbon is serves as a container for
different commands. And these  Tabs, groups and commands
commands are organized into three
components. What are these three
components?
 The namebox shows the cell reference
of the active cell. This can also be used
to locate a cell.
 What part of Microsoft excel window
where you can enter or edit text or  Formula bar
formulas.
 What do you call for a cell that is
selected?  Active cell
 It is a rectangular area where a column
and rows intersect.  Cell
 A worksheet is a single spreadsheet
that contains cells organized in rows
and columns.
 Workbook is an excel file that
contains one or more worksheet
 It allows you to easily go to the top or  Scroll bar
bottom, left or right of the worksheet.
What do you call that bar?

 Displays the different views of the  View buttons

 Zoom Level and Zoom Slider  Minimizes/maximizes the view by
sliding the zoom slider.
