Welcome to second semester Honors Chemistry! I am pleased to be your student’s teacher this
semester. I have been student teaching in your student’s first semester while working on my
Master’s in Teaching & Teacher Education. I have an extensive background in biological research,
where I have done biochemical research and instructed students in the laboratory. I enjoy teaching
students science and how it applies to the world around them. Your students will learn and work
hard this semester – it’s going to be great!

Classroom Procedures:

Tips for Success:
• Always give your best effort and ask questions when you do not understand or are unsure.
• Participate in your education by reinforcing the content material by reading and working on
your chemistry homework every night.
• Review your class work, chemistry text sample problems, practice problems or notes.
Quizzes can come at any time so be sure you know all the material we have covered in class
and any material from the reading assignment.
• Consultation Hours: The Monday and Tuesday conference period are mandatory for all
students who need assistance. I will be available for additional assistance at other times by
