Subject: Uploading of final answer keys on Department website in respect of

LDCEs/Competitive Examination for the post of Postal Assistant /Sorting
Assistant held on 15.09.2019.

Madam /Sir,
The LDCEs/Competitive Examination for the post of Postal Assistant /Sorting
Assistant was held on 15.09.2019 in all Postal Circles except J&K.

2. Attached is a list of final answer keys, duly approved by the Competitive Authority,
of Paper I of the examinations. The fbllowing is the method for awarding marks for the
questions.

(a) There are l0 questions (marked as 'ignore' in the Paper I which are either ambiguous
or correct answers are not available or are out of syllabus, resulting in lack of clarity.
It has been decided to ignore these questions. Full mark i.e. 01 is to be awarded for
each of the 10 questions to all the candidates.
(b) There are three questions which have more than one option available for answer. In
these questions full mark i.e. 01 is to be awarded for any of the correct options.

J Circles are requested to:
(i) upload final answer keys of Paper I alongwith that of MCQs of Paper II on
department website.
(ii) upload marks obtained by each candidate in Paper I & Paper II (MCQs &
subjective).
(iii) upload list of candidates qualified 'Data Entry Skill Test' (DEST) on the
website.
(iv) conduct 'Data Entry Skill Test' (DEST) of the qualified candidates in
consultation with CEPT, Mysuru.
(v) declare final result (year-wise) of the examination as per the declared
vacancy position and qualifying standards etc.

4. It is fr"rrther requested to take fr.rrther action in the matter on priority. This Directorate
may be intimated immediately after declaration of the final resltlt.
