School + Secondary — Davao City National High School Relative to this, all Cluster Heads and Public Schools District Supervisors are enjoined to conduct cluster/district elimination. Each team will be given two hours to road the beoks. Coashes/chaparone wil not be allowed to interect with thelr teams during reading time anc until the event s fished, ‘There wil be three (3) judges for Team Reading event. ‘This event has two (2) rourds namely elimination and aificuit rounds. Allecores will be talied and computed for the tetal sccres of participants, and a9 bases of qualifiers for the final round and the winners, ELIMINATION ROUND: Easy and Average Questions (MultipleType of Questions) ‘A quiz master vil read the questions and the choices of answers ONCE ONLY. 2 Abuzzer is a mark forthe tear to answer the question 3. The team wil wrte the letter of their answer after the quiz master read the question and as they hear the buzzer. Each tearm will use an ansvre:shee's and marking pen in answering, 4, Each question in the Easy round will be given 10 seconde to answer (Ipoint each correct anewer), and ‘iSseconds for each question in the average round (2 points each correct answer). Ten (10) questionsfor sasy round and another ten (10) questions for the average round, A total of 30peints forthe elimination round 5. For the Moderato Phase. it wil bo limited to 19 seconds per question. For the Diffcut Phase. it wil be imited to 20 seconds, 2. Questions wil be read twice by the cuizmaster. (Secondary) RATIONALE Communicative Arts aims to develop the oral communication, English fluency and communicative competence of each participant in five (S) macro skills. The events to be competed shall enhance the multiple intelligences and intrapersonal relationships among the participants as well as the coaches. ‘Through these contests, they will be able to cater the varied leaming styles. The ten (10) divisions shall Participate in the different events together with their learners and winners.
