1. Introduction

1.1 Software Interface

1.1.1 As shown in Picture 1.1.3, it includes New, Load config and Save config. Each option is described
as below.

To create a new program file.


To open saved program file.
To save current program file at particular location with a different name.

1.1.2 As shown in picture 1.1.4, this menu option includes Program, Text, Picture, Video,
Animation, Form, Temperature, Humidity, Countdown, Noise, Digital Clock and Analog Clock.

1.1.3 As shown in picture 1.1.5, Sets have following functions.

This function is used to set the parameters of the screen like Scan Mode, Cascading, Smart
Settings and Screen Size etc.

This function is used for testing various patterns and colors of the screen.

This function is used to reset all the parameters settings and programs stored in control
card’s memory.

This function is for the grouping of screens.

This function is used to manage users.

To adjust time of the control card manually.

To manage multi-functional card for sensors.

This function is used for the adjustment of brightness (manually, automatically and
timing), Power ON/OFF screen and adjusting volume.

1.1.4 This option is used for Preview of current screen, preview of current program and to lock window.

1.1.5 Option is used for sending program to particular screen by Network Send (I.e. Ethernet, Wi-Fi) and
USB/SD send and to play specified program.

1.1.6 As shown in picture 1.1.8, tools have following functions Convert video, Network tool, hardware
Update, sent font, System tools.

This option is used to convert video into compatible format.

This option is used for network settings for operation of control card through PUB server.

This option is used for updating sending card, receiving card and embedded firmware.

Send font is used to send new fonts to controller.

1.1.7 To change language, link of LISTEN’s website, update software version, the manual of software
and check software version.

2. Software operation

1. Right click on software icon and select “Run as administrator”. Please refer to the following picture

2. Enter password 888 and click on Login.

3. Click on “File” and click on “New”.

4. Now click on Screen1 and enter Screen Height and Screen Width.

5. Now click on “Sets” and go to “Screen Parameter”.

6. In “Basic Settings” click on “Search Card”

7. An IP address will appear in the window.

8. Double click on IP address to modify the IP.

IP address, Subnet mask and Gateway” in Local adapter info” and in “control card info” must be
same only the last segment of IP address is different. Please refer to the picture.

(NOTE: In case in local adapter info is not same as mentioned in the picture, then please follow these
steps.
Go to Control Panel of PC Network and Sharing Center  Click on Ethernet

A new window will open then Click on “Properties”

Then again a new window will open then in list check “Internet protocol version 4(TCP/IPV4) and
double click on it and enter following IP address and Click “Ok”. Please refer to picture 2.11

9. Click on Modify and it will modify successfully.

10. Now Right Click on IP and select “Assign to current Screen”.

11. Now click on cascade settings and Enter Password 888 and Confirm.

12. In cascading enter number of Cards in width and height and Number of pixels in width and height of
each receiving card. Then Look from the front of the screen to check the line connection and choose
right connection way of receiving cards accordingly on the right side. Finally click on Confirm.

13. Now, go to Smart settings and click on Group Seq.

14. Select “16 Group” for R301A-50 and LS Q2C -50, and select “24 Group” for R301A-75 and LS Q2C
-75 controllers. Then Click Confirm.

15. Now click on Smart Set.

16. Select “Choose Common module” option to select preloaded scan modes or pre saved (Custom) scan
modes. Or select “Smart guider to Set” to make a new scan mode.

17. For “Smart guider to set”. Select all values to “Unknown” and click on next.

18. Check the status of the display on “State 1” and “State 2” and select the correct option to set DA
polarity and click “Next”.

19. Check the status of the display on “State 1” and “State 2” and select the correct option to set OE
polarity and click “Next”.

20. Now check what color shows on the display, and then choose color code accordingly and click Next.

21. Check the number of blinking pixels on the Upper right corner of the screen and enter the value here
and click Next.

22. Now check the numbers of lightning rows on the top of led and enter the value here.

23. Now follow the pattern of the pixel glowing on the module and complete this pattern in the software
accordingly.

Then click on “Confirm” and then click “Yes”. A window will open and save this “scan mode” at a
desired location.
24. Now Click on
“ Send Settings” to send settings to the screen.
“Settings save as” to save the configuration file in computer.
“Load from file” to load configuration file.

25. Now close this window and a pop up window will appear, click on save.

26. Make a Program take Text, Video, Picture or Animation.
Set Height and width of the program and file in the program Then Click on Send.

27. To send data through Network (Ethernet) Click on send button.

To send data through U-Disk or SD Card. Go to Comms  USB/SD Send
