2. Plurals Random Pictures of Turkey


To make plurals of nouns, the suffix -ler is used. Below are some examples, note how the suffix -ler
becomes 'sometimes -ler, sometimes -lar' obeying the rules of vowel harmony.
road(s) --> yol --> yollar
tree(s) --> a"aç --> a"açlar
rose(s) --> gül --> güller
room(s) --> oda --> odalar
house(s) --> ev --> evler
job(s) --> meslek --> meslekler
