Changes in NOW File Uploader on


account of Interoperability
With reference to the SEBI circular on interoperability among Clearing Corporations, members
using NOW are required to take note of the following changes in the NOW File Uploader
Application:

 The NOW File Uploader 1.48.2.0 has been introduced for those Members who upload PS03
in the Derivatives and Currency exchange segments across NSE and BSE.

 Kindly note that there is a change in the file format of the Applicable files (YYYY-MM-DD)
introduced by NSE Clearing Ltd post the mock session on July 27, 2019. A separate NOW
Uploader version (higher version than _1.48.2.0) shall be introduced for BSE Members who
have opted for clearing corporation as NSE Clearing and uploading position files.

Pre-requisites

 Download the NOW File Uploader 1.48.2.0 setup from the NOW Extranet path
(ftp://121.244.2.20/COMMON/NOW/SETUP).
 The following latest files are to be taken from the clearing corporation and updated in the
NOW FILE UPLOADER folder on the user’s machine.

Upload Process

Once the pre-requisites are in place, the user shall login into NOW File Uploader version
1.48.2.0.

 A new Option known as Interoperability has been introduced in the Menu Dropdown.

 On selecting this option, there is an Upload Contract button that needs to be clicked to load
the above mentioned pre-requisite files provided by the respective Clearing Corporations.
Kindly check the log window below for confirmation on successful contract upload.

 After uploading the contract files, select the following parameters:
o Product Code
o Clearing Corporation
o Source Exchange Segment
o Destination Exchange Segment
Select Parameters.

 User Need to select the Product Code in which he needs to update the Consolidated PS03
file.
 User needs to select the Clearing Corporation that he has opted for i.e. ICCL or NSCCL.
 Source Exchange will be selected based on the Clearing Corporation selected, i.e. in case
ICCL is selected, then Source exchange will have two options i.e. BSEFO and BCD and if the
NSCCL is selected, then the source exchange will have two options i.e. NFO and CDS.
o For the Members who have opted for Interoperability, and if the Clearing
Corporation selected is ICCL and if he wants to update the same in BFO/BCD
exchange, then he needs to select Source exchange as BSEFO/BSECDS and select the
destination exchange as BSEFO and BCD.
o For the Members who have opted for Interoperability, and if the Clearing
Corporation selected is NSCCL and if he wants to update the same in NFO/CDS
exchange, then he needs to select Source exchange as NSEFO/CDS and select the
destination exchange as NSEFO and CDS.

 The positions shall be uploaded and displayed in the Admin Positions, Net Postions and
Present Positions screen in NOW as per the output to the below mentioned combinations:
