MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRMAN

As one of the United Arab Emirates pioneers in building construction, our corporate
journey began during the early development of Dubai, engaging in a diverse range
of project’s part of the city’s landscape and skyline.

Founded in 1974, Al Ashram Contracting has grown concurrently with the UAE’s
prodigious development. Many projects completed by us became well known
landmarks and we are proud to have left a mark on Dubai’s showcase.

Over the years, we have refined and perfected our approach on a course of many
prestigious and challenging projects. Our principles and standards make us a
steadfast partner in the pursuit of commercial and reputational success for our clients.
Today, we are determined to further develop the legacy that we started.

Success is never achieved alone, and we owe the accomplishments to our dedicated
and experienced people. Our journey of development and improvement was realized
by top caliber staff with high expertise in their field. The collective efforts and

COMPANY PROFILE AND HISTORY

Rising to Meet the Challenges of a Bright Future with Possibility

Al Ashram Contracting was established in 1974 by Saif Al Ashram with its headquarter
in Dubai. The company contained high ambition to grow in the same pace of the
U.A.E. as an emerging operator in its domain. Within its first decade the company
was able to live up to its vision by reaching a “Grade A” classification with an
“Unlimited Height” license. The company at the time had engaged in landmark
projects within the public and private sector.

Al Ashram Contracting has delivered a diversified array of projects of highrise

buildings, industrial, civic, recreational and infrastructure related.

The construction industry is filled with buzzwords and phrases: “We want to do things
differently,” or “We have to be innovative,” or “We need more teamwork and
collaboration”. Al Ashram transforms these vague concepts into concrete ways of doing
business. The company continuously evaluates the latest technologies available in the
building industry to implement in any area it finds will benefit of such solution in order to
deliver client projects.

Today the company is constantly pursuing projects that they have been contracted to
execute based on enhanced proposals valued and verified by its clients. The
company’s approach has been engineered around a main principle set by it’s
founder, which is to continuously develop its reputation by fulfilling the goals of its
projects and achieve satisfaction of its clients.

Throughout its history, Al Ashram Contracting has always reinforced its prime
operational pillar with human capital. Ultimately, our success in this business is
measured one project at a time. After the completion of each project we undertake,
there must remain a satisfied client, one who will ask us back for the next project and
recommend us to others. Otherwise, we have failed in our mission of providing superior
construction services. We simply try harder, and the results speak for themselves.

At Al Ashram Contracting, we have the resources and skill sets necessary to advise
on refining the engineering aspects of projects in order to deliver significant technical
and commercial benefits. To deliver this approach we have the support of a full range
of affiliated specialists in the field of construction.

By prioritizing transparency and integrity, we supply our clients with extensive

documentation, detailed BOQs and a holistic approach to design, procurement and
construction.

HIGH RISE

We are fully licensed to work on high rise construction projects in the UAE. Our team
has the experience and expertise to support a comprehensive range of projects in
these areas.

VALUE ENGINEERING

At Al Ashram Contracting, we voluntarily deploy a value engineering approach to

meet the needs of clients, led by an in house team of dedicated professionals. Our
review and analysis approach ensures that project plans are fully realizable,
maximizing opportunities for cost control while at the same time ensuring that
projects are delivered on time and to the specified standards.

DEVELOPMENT CONSTRUCTION PARTNERSHIP

At Al Ashram Contracting, we offer developers the opportunity to realize the full

potential of their real estate ventures by establishing a partnership and extending
credit lines to them. In keeping with the partnership, we work closely with the
developer to build a business plan and regularly hold review sessions to ascertain the
value proposition of the venture versus the risks posed to the developer and other
involved partners.

POLICY

Al Ashram Contracting strives to achieve a best practice in the field of construction in

synchrony with quality, health, safety and environment. Our objective is to stimulate
improved and effective performance through employee participation on all levels. The
continuous improvements are aimed at enhancing productivity, client relationship
satisfaction, control and assurance on quality, providing training, health and safety, as
well as protecting the environment.

QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM PROCEDURES

Al Ashram Contracting follows Quality Management System Procedures to monitor

the management system in line with the International Standard. The management is
keen on implementing these procedures and seeks to attain accreditations and
certifications from International Standard Organizations.

HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT

We are focused on the safety of our workforce and protecting the communities where
we operate. We provide full and extensive training for our people, and our processes
are fully inline with international health, safety and environment (HSE) standards.
