Test Data Sheet Determination of Consistency of Standard Cement Paste Ref: IS: 4031 (P-4) - 1988, RA 2009

The document contains test data sheets from multiple cement tests including consistency, setting time, soundness, fineness, and compressive strength. It includes observations and results from standard cement paste tests following IS procedures, recording details like cement type and brand, temperature and humidity conditions, weights of materials used, mixing and curing times, measured and calculated values. The sheets provide a record of testing done on cement samples to determine if they meet specification requirements.

Determination Of Consistency Of Standard Cement Paste
Ref: IS: 4031 (P-4)-1988, RA 2009
Sample Source/Location Ambient Temperature
°C - 27±2°C
Type/Grade Of Cement Relative Humidity-RH %-
65±5
Batch Number Cement Brand-opc/ppc
Procedure :-the standard consistency of a cement paste will permit the vical plunger to a point
5 to 7 mm from the bottom of the vical mould, prepare a paste of weighed quantity of cement
with a weighed quantity of potable distilled water, time of gauging between 3 to 5 minutes. The
gauging time shall be connected from the time of adding water, clean appliance shall be used
for gauging in filling the mould.
