B. Reference: Horizons Music and Arts Appreciation for Young Filipinos TMs/LMs
C. Time Allotment: 1hr
D. Instructional Materials: laptop, speaker, projector

III. PROCEDURE:
A. Preliminary Activity:
B. Motivation: “Film Viewing”
- Show the following selected film excerpts from Popular Philippine movie.
- Have the students guess the tittle of the movie.
C. Lesson Proper:
- Discuss the Philippine Filmmakers and their works through game discussion.
1. Lino Brocka- Tinimbang Ka Ngunit Kulang
2. Laurice Guillen- Tanging Yaman
3. Marilou Diaz Abaya- Muro-ami
4. Maryo J. Delos Reyes- Magnifico
1V. ASSESSMENT:
“Group Performance”
- Each group will perform a short scene excerpt from Popular Philippine movies
Criteria for Grading:
Tension and Emotion 20 pts.
Memorization 10 pts.
Movement and Blocking 10 pts.
Focus and give and take 10 pts.
Total 50pts.
V. ASSIGNMENT:
Explain why the film director is considered an artist, 5-10 sentences.
