Radical Expressions 1

The document provides an introduction to a module on radical expressions. It defines radicals as extensions of expressions involving exponents that are used to define rational exponents. The objectives are to define radical expressions, give examples, and identify the index and radicand. A 5 question pre-test is included to assess understanding, with answers provided at the end. Students who score 95% or higher can skip this module and proceed to the next.
