PARENT’S GENERAL ORIENTATION PROGRAM

Academic Year 2019 - 2020


June 15, 2019 (Saturday) / 9:00 am – 11:30 am
AMS Auditorium

*Good morning! Welcome to this year’s “PARENTS GENERAL ORIENTATION”. This is brought to you by the
Basic Education Department through the Center for Guidance Services and there’s no better way to begin
our program than starting it with a prayer through a DOXOLOGY to be followed by the singing of the
PHILIPPINE NATIONAL ANTHEM. May I please request everyone to stand.
(In the name of the father, the son, and the holy spirit… Amen)

*Please be seated. We are gathered here today to orient you with everything about your children’s second
home – Our Lady of Fatima University, and to officially welcome you, dear parents, may I call on Basic
Education Department Assistant Administrator for his welcome address. Ladies and gentlemen, MR.
RAFAEL VICENTE S. ENRIQUEZ

*Lets all give him a round of applause

*Our Lady of Fatima University through its Vision and Mission of improving man as man, aims to hone
individuals to become an ACHIEVER, imbued with necessary skills, virtues, and academic prowess through
highly satisfying services and facilities, and to further explain to us what’s in store for our students, may I
call on the Principal for the Basic Education Department, MR. BARRY H. DIO

*Thank you very much, MR. BARRY H. DIO for that inspiring words you have given us.

*At this point may I request our dear principal to introduce to us his competitive and highly qualified work
force. let us welcome once again on stage MR. BARRY H. DIO

*Thank you Mr. Dio.

*INTERMISSION NUMBER – a teacher is a person who lead the students to do what is right and to be who
they wanted to be. Behind their words are the talent that they want to share with us. And now, may I call
on the Faculty members of Basic Education Department. Let’s give them a resounding round of applause.

Thank you very much to all our talented teachers.

*One of the highlights of a student’s academic life is to graduate with high grades and awards. And to
present to you the standard processes and academic policies on GRADING SYSTEM and SELECTION OF
HONORS, let me introduce to you Basic Education Department Math and Science Coordinator to discuss
with you the Academic Policies. Let us welcome MR. ROBERT ALDRIN G. BAUTISTA (Academic
coordinator)

*Basic Education Department wants all the best to the students that’s why we have a lot of offerings that
we want to share with you this School Year. To give us the Academic Programs, May I call on MARY ANN
TORRES-MARIANO (Language Coordinator)

Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing you
can achieve success. And we, as part of the Basic Education Department we love to serve you and together
with your help we will always achieve success.

*And now, we want to share with you give the accomplishments of Basic Education Department for 2017-
2018. May I call on our Makabayan Coordinator, MS. LINETTE SAGUBAN

*To accomplish Great things we must not only act but also dream not only plan but also believe.

. At this juncture, let us know more about the CURRICULAR and CO-CURRICULAR offering of the Basic
Education Department, ladies and gentlemen, our STUDENT ACTIVITY COORDINATOR, MR. DENNES
OLASIMAN.

*Thank you very much Sir. I’m sure our students will be more than willing to be part of those student
organizations.

BED AVP of 2018

*Behind every successful academic institution lies a very proactive and hardworking team. At this point,
let me direct your attention to the screen as we present to you what we have in BASIC EDUCATION
DEPARTMENT.

*Moving forward, for our students to enjoy harm free and harmonious academic environment, students
must abide with the policies set by the University. And to enlighten us with the CODE OF DISCIPLINE and
SUSPENSION OF CLASSES, may I call on our BED Discipline Officer, MR. JOHN LOUIE ALEJANDRO.

*Thank you very much, Sir Louie.


*Aside from our competitive faculty members, the University also offers satisfying services with the help
of our Student Personnel Service providers. At this point, let me introduce to you the STUDENT SERVICES
of the University.

*Alright. And to formally end today’s affair, may I invite once again, the principal of Basic Education
Department MR. BARRY H. DIO for his CLOSING REMARKS.

*Thank you MR. BARRY H. DIO for the inspiring words you have shared with us.
* At this point, let us all rise and feel the presence of our Heavenly Father through a prayer.

*Once again, I’d like to extend my sincerest thanks to all parents who came here today. Rest assured that
you made the right choice of entrusting your sons and daughter’s education to us. This is
