4.4 Abstraction 10 minutes Card catalog is a set of cards in alphabetical order, each one giving
information about an item in a collection.

Three Types of a Card Catalog
1. Author Card is a type of card catalog organized by the last name of the
author. If more than one book collaborated on the book, the author listed
first is the one that appears on the card catalog.

2. Subject Card organizes of all the library holdings by the main subjects of
the title.

3. Title Card provides an easy way for a person to find a specific book
or multimedia holding by its title. It also contains all of the same
information that the author catalog contains, but the information
is rearranged on each card entry. The title of the book is listed, then the
author's name, publishing information and subjects.

4.5 Application 5 minutes Look at the list of authors, titles, and subjects. Write A if it is for an author
