Remember!
Common clutch troubles include clutch slip while engaged, clutch chatter
or grabs while engaging, clutch noisy while engaged, clutch noisy while
disengaged, and rapid friction disc facing wear.
The following should be observed in diagnosing clutch failures/problems:
1. Determine the failure/problem.
2. Diagnose the possible cause/s of the failure or problem.
3. Determine possible remedies to address the failure or problem.
4. Troubleshoot.
Test your skill!
Your family is planning to watch a movie at Robinson’s Mall, Tuguegarao
City. Your father requested you to check the car that will be used for your
transportation. Upon checking, you found out that the clutch was out of
adjustment. What would be its possible causes? How will you address the
problem?
Give at least 3 causes of trouble with corresponding remedies.
