My Map
In order to reach my target I should do the following steps using the given pyramid.

3. Write
your insights
on teaching and
learning.

2. Observe a class.

1. Write your ideas on teaching and

learning.
My Tools
For this episode, I will use the activity from given below.

Interview a teacher. Ask if they perform these series of actions in the teaching process.

PLAN
She makes a plan to make their teachings become sequential,
appropriate and effective with the help of the curriculum
planning.

I MP L EME N T

She was following all the things that she settled in the curriculum
plan, so the flow of her teaching was very successful.

EVALUATE

Evaluation is the most exciting part of ones teaching because you

can reflect all the learnngs that the students already acquired
with your help as a facilitator of the learners.
Observe a class, record the situations where these behavioral learning theories are
applied in real classroom work.

Behavioral Learning Theories – emphasize observable behavior such as new skills,

knowledge or attitudes which can be demonstrated.

The attitudes of the students towards to their teacher becomes more interactive in a
way that the students feel more comfortable to speak out what are the ideas or feelings they
have to participate in a class discussion.

Cognitive Learning Theories – unobservable mental processes are used to learn and
remember new information or acquire skills.

The teacher uses simple recall type in terms of assessing her students, these
assessment tool was very effective in a way that the teacher can modify if her students are
studying the learnings they have to acquire even it measures only the remembering skills of
the students.

Discovery Learning – individual learns from his discovery of the environment.

Unfortunately, I did not observed this one in my observation.

Reception Learning – learners are actively involved in their own learning.

The learners are actively involved themselves in the process of learning because the
teacher relate the topic in the real life situation.
My Analysis

1. Explain why teaching and learning give life and meaning to the curriculum.

Because it is the main aim of the curriculum, to teach all the learnings that the learners must acquire
to help themselves achieve what they want to be in their life in the present and especially to their
future.

2. Discuss why the deluge of information poses a great challenge to both teaching and
learning.

Because too much information leads you in an ambiguous situation in a way that you can
forget the real or the most important idea to support your answer as a student and support
your lesson as a teacher.

My Reflections/ My Insights

I LIKE TEACHING BECAUSE…it makes me feel completely as a human being

because there is a feeling of charity in a way that you are helping other people to learn
the good and essential teachings that they must bear in their life to make them also
complete.

My Portfolio

Make a collage of pictures of the teaching process.
