PROJECT REQUIREMENTS 10 MARKS

PROJECT DELIVERABLES – WORK BREAKDOWN STRUCTURE 15 MARKS

[A deliverable is a tangible, measurable result, outcome or product that must be produced to

complete a project or part of a project. Clarifying the deliverables before the project work begins can
help ensure that the outcome of a project meets the business and stakeholders' expectations. Project
deliverables are identified and documented in a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). Refer to WBS
Samples and Guidelines for information on developing your WBS.

The WBS is a deliverable-oriented breakdown of work. Take the overall scope of work and break it
down into deliverables. The deliverables will then be broken down into tasks which will form the basis
of your project plan. For this portion of the assignment, perform and complete the following:

1. Develop your project’s WBS as a team using the Sticky Note method. Take a photo of the WBS
and add it as Appendix One of your project charter document. Ensure that the sticky notes are
readable in the photo.
2. Develop your WBS in a table format. Use the “WBS Table format” template found below as
Appendix Two of your project charter document.]
