[12] NE KHANG OG MIN ZHING DANG YER ME PE/


Meditate the surroundings as inseparable from a buddhafield.
RANG DÜN SENG CHEN PEMA NYI DE TENG/
In the space in front of me is a lion throne on which are a lotus, sun and
moon disc seat
Ü SU DRIN CHEN TSA WE LA MA NI/
in the centre of which sits the kind root lama
YEN LAG DÜN DEN DOR JE CHANG GI TSHUL/
in the form of Vajradhara with the seven characteristics,
NGO SANG CHAG NYI DOR DRIL THUG KAR NOL/
blue in colour, two arms, holding a vajra and bell crossed at the heart
ZHAB NYI DOR JE KYIL TRUNG GYING TSHUL ZHUG/
and gracefully sitting in the vajra position,
DAR DANG RIN CHEN NA TSHOG GYEN GYI DZE/
adorned by the silken robes and various precious jewel ornaments
GYÜ PE SHE NYEN NAM DANG THAB CHIG ZHUG/
and surrounded by all the lineage lamas.
DÜN DU YI DAM KHOR LO DE WE CHOG/
In front of the lion throne is the yidam Cakrasamvara,
YAB YUM NANG TONG ZUNG JUG NYOM JUG TSHUL/
the male and female aspects in union, whose manifestation is
simultaneously appearance and emptiness.
[13] DAR DANG RIN CHEN NA TSHOG GYEN GYI TRE/
He is adorned by the silken robes and precious jewel ornaments.

YE SU DÜ SUM SANG GYE TSHEN PER DEN/


At the right side of the throne is the assembly of the buddhas of the three
times,
KAL ZANG SANG GYE TONG DANG LHEN CHIG ZHUG/
possessing all the auspicious signs of a buddha together with the thousand
buddhas of this fortunate kalpa.
GYAB TU SHE RAB PHA ROL CHIN PE YUM/
Behind the throne is the Prajnāpāramitā

proclaiming the relative and ultimate meaning of the three yānas.
YÖN DU TSE DEN JANG CHUB SEM PE TSHOG/
To the left of the throne is the assembly of the compassionate bodhisattvas
THEG SUM GE DÜN NAM KYI YONG SU KOR/
surrounded by the sangha of the three yānas.
THRI YI TSHAM KUN DAM PA CHÖ KYONG WE/
Around the base of the throne are the dharmapalas,
SUNG MA DAM CHEN TRIN THRIG TA BUR GYUR//
an ocean of guardians gathered like clouds.

37-Point Mandala

The base is the completely pure golden ground.

A wall of iron mountains forms a circle.

1) At the centre stands Mount Meru, the king mountain,
SHAR LÜ PHAG PO/
2) to the east is Superior Body,
LHO DZAM BU LING/
3) to the south is Jambudvipa

14) the precious mountain of jewels, 15) the wish-fulfilling tree,

16) the holy cow that grants wishes, 17) the grain that needs no toil,

18) precious wheel, 19) precious jewel,
TSÜN MO RIN PO CHE/ LÖN PO RIN PO CHE/
20) precious queen, 21) precious minister,

24) precious general, 25) a vase of many treasures,

26) the graceful goddess, 27) the goddess of garlands,

28) the goddess of song, 29) the goddess of dance,

30) the goddess of flowers, 31) the goddess with incense,

37) the victory banner triumphant in every direction.

TSHANG WA ME PA/
In the centre of this mandala is the most perfect collection of the glorious
wealth of gods and humans with nothing lacking.

ZHING KHAM NAM PAR DAG PA DI NYI/


I offer these
DRIN CHEN TSA WA DANG GYÜ PAR CHE PE PAL DEN LA MA
DAM PA NAM DANG/
to the kind root lama and the lineage lamas,
YI DAM KYIL KHOR GYI LHA TSHOG/
yidams,
KÖN CHOG RIN PO CHE NAM PA SUM/
triple gem,
PA WO KHA DRO CHÖ KYONG SUNG MA DANG CHE PA NAM
LA BUL WAR GYI'O/
dākas, dākinīs and the host of dharma guardians.
[17] THUG JE DRO WE DÖN DU ZHE SU SOL/
Please accept these offerings for the benefit of all sentient beings
ZHE NE JIN GYI LAB TU SOL/
and grant me your blessings.

The short mandala offering


SA ZHI PÖ CHÜ JUG SHING ME TOG TRAM/
The ground is sprinkled with scented water and strew with flowers.
RI RAB LING ZHI NYI DE GYEN PA DI/
It is adorned with Meru, the supreme mountain, the four continents and
the sun and moon.
SANG GYE ZHING LA MIG TE PHUL WA YI/
As a buddhafield, I offer it.
DRO KÜN NAM DAG ZHING DU CHÖ PAR SHOG//
May all sentient beings attain the happiness of the buddhafields.

KU SUM YONG DZOG LA ME TSHOG NAM LA/


To the lamas who possess the three kāyas,
CHI NANG SANG SUM DE ZHIN NYI KYI CHÖ/
I offer the outer, inner and secret offerings
DAG LÜ LONG CHÖ NANG SI YONG ZHE LA/
with my body, wealth and all that is visible.
LA ME CHOG GI NGÖ DRUB TSAL DU SOL//
Please grant me the supreme realization – enlightenment.

The short sevenfold offering


[18] CHAG TSHAL WA DANG CHÖ CHING SHAG PA DANG/
Whatever merit I have gathered through
JE SU YI RANG KUL ZHING SOL WA YI/
prostrations, offerings, confession,
GE WA CHUNG ZE DAG GI CHI SAG PA/
rejoicing, beseeching and praying –
THAM CHE DZOG PE JANG CHUB CHIR NGO'O//
for the sake of enlightenment of all sentient beings, all this I dedicate.
OM GURU DEWA DĀKINĪ
RATNA MANDALA PRATĪTSA SWĀHĀ/

Offering one's own body and wealth together with the root
of virtue and supplication

DAG LÜ LONG CHÖ GE WE TSA WAR CHE/


I offer my body, wealth and even the root cause of merit
GYAL WA KHOR DANG CHE LA DENG BUL GYI/
to the victorious host of buddhas.
ZHE NE DAM PA NAM KYI GANG TOG PE/
By accepting these offerings,
NGE PE DÖN CHOG DAG GI TOG PAR SHOG//
please grant us your supreme accomplishment.

Dissolution

KYAB YUL NAM RANG LA THIM PAR GYUR//


Meditate that the visualization dissolves into oneself and oneself dissolves
into emptiness. Rest in this natural state.
