Getting started with investing can often be complicated and overwhelming for the average
person. The most common problems encountered when trying to start investing include but are
not limited to:

 Difficulty in understanding investments and (the investment language)


investment jargons
 Figuring out what type of investments to buy
 Lack of quick and convenient channels to invest money periodically
 How to determine your risk appetite and the most ideal assets that fit it
 Why are there so many hidden fees and charges and do they all mean?
 Absence of convenient and real time way of viewing and monitoring the growth
of your investment portfolio/plan

Traditionally, the way to address this was to work with a financial advisor or wealth manager
who can take you through the process. However, such tailored advice from these professionals
come at significant fees which are costly for the average investor looking to get started with

Cedi Manager is designed to solve all these difficulties by making investing easy and
straightforward through the application. Cedi Manager utilises smart technology and
algorithmic tools to provide tailored financial planning and portfolio management services for

Cedi Manager’s easy, straightforward investing process in a few simple steps:

1. Risk Scoring – We start by asking you a few questions designed to assess your personal
financial situation and your risk tolerance

2. Create Your Plan – You then create an investment plan by assigning it a name and a
time horizon (e.g. New House Plan, for 10 years)

3. We Design Your Custom Portfolio – Based on the answers provided, Cedi Manager’s
intelligent algorithm uniquely analyses the user’s profile and recommends a portfolio of
assets tailored to match the user’s risk score and investment goals

4. Deposit Money – User can now begin investing by depositing money via Credit or Debit
Card, Mobile Money, Direct Debit or by Bank Deposit

5. Invest Deposited Money – We invest your contributions according to the portfolio


allocation designed for you. (egg. 40% Money Market Fund, 60% EDC Balanced Fund)

6. Monitor Your Portfolio – Sit back and monitor the value of your investments anywhere,
anytime through Cedi Manager app

Investors have access to their funds at any time, and can make withdrawals or deposits
instantly. Ongoing portfolio management and rebalancing is handled automatically.

In a nutshell, Cedi Manager simplifies the entire investment experience by eliminating complex
jargon, automating processes while granting transparency to the investor to view and monitor
the growth of his/her portfolio.
