DRFEIP (Developing Reading Through Fun, Innovative, & Efficient Program)

The DRFEIP outlines a reading intervention plan with the objective of providing additional help to pupils falling behind in reading. Over the course of the 2018 school year, the plan involves conducting reading assessments, identifying pupils for remedial instruction, implementing bi-monthly lessons, conducting mid-year evaluations with parents, and administering final assessments to measure progress in improving reading abilities. The teacher, pupils, and parents are key players who will work together over the July 2018 to March 2019 timeframe to help underperforming readers catch up to their peers.
