MAKING CONTEST CRITERIA


CREATIVITY AND ORIGINALITY (25%)
- Innovative use of materials
- Distinctiveness of the design
- Expresses unique imagination

SIGNIFICANCE/RELEVANCE (25%)
- Contributes to a prayerful disposition and
not distracting
- Shows connection to the theme
- Displays culture of the assigned country

CLEANLINESS AND PRESENTATION (25%)


- Being cleaned and preserved
- There is order and harmony in the design
- Students are involved in the maintenance

APPEAL (25%)
- The “Wow!” factor (impact)
- Overall artistic expression
- Interesting to look at.

TOTAL: 100%

Notes:

- We encourage that we use only about square meter of the classroom


are for the altarina so that it will not consume a lot of space.

- Although we encourage creativity in the design, please do not spend


too much on materials. It is recommended that we use recycled
things.

- If you plan to use a statue of Mama Mary, a 3ft tall statue will do.
Something taller than that is not advisable.

This activity is intended for students from grade 3 to grade 6.


If you’re interested in joining this contest, please submit your
name on a 1/8 pad paper to your Adviser on or before
October 11. There should be 2 representatives for each
section.

The Marian image you are to color will be given on October


12 during the time of the contest itself. The image varies
according to your grade level.

You must bring your own materials and may use the following
medium:
 Coloring pencils
 Crayons
 Oil Pastel

Neatness (25%) Careful in avoiding smudges
Appeal (25%) Impact/ “WOW” factor
