Welcome to iLabs!

iLabs Access codes provide direct access to specific Lab titles. This process will lead you through activating
your account, registering your access code and launching your first lab session.

Step 1 Visit https://eccouncil.learnondemand.net/User/Register?OrganizationId=1060

Step 2 Signing Up:

If you already have an account:

 Select login and log in with your username and password, skip to step 5.

Otherwise:

 Select “Login to iLabs” and then select “Sign up Now!” under the login button.

Step 3 Select the “EC-Council” logo from the list.

***Please note when creating your account select the Center as EC Council or you will not be able to redeem
your access key.

Step 4 Enter your basic information and select save. (Note: You must use a valid email address to register.)

Step 5 Select “Redeem Training Key” and enter you Access Code/Training Key of it is not already
populated:
Step 6 Select “Courses” and begin your lab session by opening the appropriate Lab profile.

Things to know:

 The environment is active for 6 months from the date you register. Note that the expiration date is the
date when you can no longer redeem your voucher; if you activate before that time, you will have 6
months of access.

 Getting acquainted with iLabs – you will be spending a significant amount of time in our lab
environment as you progress through your course of study. To get the most out of your time and
your purchase, we strongly recommend you launch the “5 Minute Lab Orientation” Course in your
Course Offerings prior to starting any labs. (You will need to search the catalog fro this
module.) This 5-minute session will take you through a full connectivity check as well as a complete
orientation to the lab environment and how to navigate our content. (If you choose not to review this
module you will miss out on some key features that will make navigating the environment much
easier!)

 For Support: Tier 1 support is available through the “Contact Us” page on the left hand side. There is a
toll free number, email and skype account with a staffed support team ready to assist you with any
LMS or Lab related problems. Content related questions should be directed to your instructor.
Should you encounter content related, technical issues, contact Tier 1 support and your case will be
escalated appropriately. Remember, these are hacking labs; misconfiguration of machines can
cause undesirable outcomes. Exiting the lab environment without saving and launching the lab
again will “reset” your Virtual Machines back to their working state.

 Open Hacking: A new exciting feature in iLabs is the 'Open Hacking' feature! The environment is
designed to take you through the labs as dictated by the lab manual (found embedded in the
environment) through step-by-step instructions and tool tips such as Screen Shots, Video Light
Bulb, Warning and Notes. However, 'Open Hacking' allows you to launch all VM’s in the
environment and utilize any of the lab files/tools to apply in any way you choose.

Thanks so much, please enjoy!
