Accomplishment Report on Family Day Celebration

03 December 2017

The GPTA officers of San Antonio Elementary School together with Mrs.
Emelda H. Malolos, the School Head and some advisers organized Family Day
which held last December 3, 2017. It aims to improve communication throughout the
entire school community by bringing students, parents and staff together in an
informal setting.

The program started with a thanksgiving mass followed by Zumba. Then,

everybody was entertained by the showcase of talent given by some talented group
of families. They also enjoyed watching the Magic and Puppet Show. It was a day
of full fun and excitement for students and would definitely be a memorable day in
their life. In today’s fast growing world, such activities revive the importance of love
and affection among the members of a family.

This event happens once a year and has gained special importance in the
lives of the children here in San Antonio Elementary School. This Family Day gives
family members and their children a chance to celebrate the meaning of being a
family and to spend a quality time with their loved ones by participating in fun
activities together. As this year’s Family Day ended, families returned to their homes
tired but very happy to have had the opportunity to spend a special day together and
hoping to have similar opportunities in the near future.
