Thursday October 24th 6:30-8:00 Sharon Butterfield from Park Lawn   

Our featured speaker is Transition Outreach Specialist Sharon Butterfield from Park Lawn’s 
Building Bridges to the Future Program. Her main focus is to advocate for and assist in 
establishing eligibility for adult community services. She will get us rolling on how to get 
started with getting on the PUNS List, securing Home-Based Services, and other funding 
options.  

Thursday November 14th 6:30-8:00 Andre Sam from the Special Needs Project 

Our featured speaker will be Andre Sam from the Special Needs Project, an education and 
advocacy group that provides parents and caregivers the resources to help eliminate the 
overwhelming & confusing obstacles of disability & special needs planning. His presentation 
will include information on Guardianship vs Powers of Attorney vs Microboards, Wills, 
Family Trusts, Special Needs Trusts, SSI, SSA, Social Security Disability, 
Medicaid/Medicare, ABLE Accounts, Budget Planning and Lifestyle/Transition Planning. 
This presentation will explain why these disability and special needs planning documents are 
important to have and how they complement each other in an estate plan designed to protect 
yourself, your family and/or your loved one’s current and future quality of life and care.   

 
There is no charge to attend. Free parking.
