National Capital Region

The National Capital Region (NCR) is a central planning region centred upon the National 
Capital Territory in India.

IT COVERS DELHI AND NEW DELHI

The districts of Haryana that are part of NCR- Bhiwani, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Jhajjar
(Jhajjar and Bahadurgarh), Mahendragarh, Panipat, Rewari, Rohtak, Sonipat,
Mewat, Palwal, Jind, Karnal

The districts of Uttar Pradesh that are part of NCR – Baghpat, Bulandshahr, Gautam
Buddha , Nagar District (Noida and Greater Noida), Ghaziabad,
Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Hapur

The districts of Rajasthan that are part of NCR- Alwar, Bharatpur

NCR is India's largest and one of the world's largest agglomeration with a
population of over 46,069,000.All the areas of NCR together generated GDP
of $128.9 billion in 2011-12, which was 7.5 percent of the Indian GDP.

The gross state value added (GSVA) at current prices for 2018-19 shows the
contribution of the tertiary sector at 84.12 per cent, followed by the secondary
sector at 14 per cent and the primary sector at 1.88

Indira Gandhi International Airport (DIGIA).
The airport will be operational by 2022-23, with handling capacity of 30-50 Million

POD TAXIS

A 4,000 crore rupees worth project to be managed by NHAI

Pods use wireless technology and sensors and are fully automatic,
driverless mode of transport.

It will connect Delhi-Haryana border to Rajiv Chowk in Gurgaon and will


cover a distance of 12.3 km.
