Rule 25 defines interrogatories as written questions propounded by one party to an adverse party that must be answered in writing under oath. Interrogatories may be served after jurisdiction over a defendant or property is obtained by leave of court, or without leave after an answer has been served. The party served must answer the interrogatories, or if a corporation, partnership or association, an officer competent to testify on its behalf. Answers must be made in writing, signed, and sworn to fully respond to the interrogatories.
