Steam Lab. 7A and 7B (Science) : Lesson Plan

Students will reinforce concepts of habitats, populations, and communities by dividing into three groups to create different ecosystems. Group A will make a forest ecosystem, Group B a desert ecosystem, and Group C a polar/arctic ecosystem to demonstrate the habitats of plants and animals. Previous knowledge on these topics will be assessed through questions. Students will then self-evaluate and prepare for the next class by considering the layers of a forest ecosystem.
