F = ma Force = mass x acceleration

P = ρgh Pressure in a fluid increases with depth

W =pV Work done by a gas

Ek = ½ mv2 Kinetic Energy = ½ x mass x velocity squared

W = Fs Work done = Force x displacement

Ep = mgh Potential Energy = mass x acceleration due to gravity x height

P = W/t Power = Work done (Energy) / time

P = Fv Momentum = Force x Velocity

F = kx Hooke’s Law Force = spring constant x extension

Stress = Force / Area

Strain = extension / original length

Young’s modulus = Stress / Strain

v = fλ The wave equation (velocity = frequency x wavelength)
