Review
Review the previous materials about days. Ask them to play sleeping writer. Tell the Ss to prepare their

notebook and pencil then ask the Ss the question e.g. “What day is it today?”
Have the Ss to answer the question by writing on their notebook and closing their eyes.
1. Ask them to open their eyes after knowing who gets the points from this game.
2. The winner is the one who answer first

T plays the hula-hoop and asks “I can play hula-hoop. Can you?”
5 Encourage the Ss to say “Yes/No, I can/can’t”
Tell the Ss “Do you know what sport is it?”
Have the Ss to answer it by themselves. The first one who can answer gets point

Have the Ss to find the hidden animal in the main scene then give point for the S who can find first then
tell about the topic; today, we are going to learn about the Favorite Sports in a week! But before
that, can you tell me where the blue bird is?
Have Ss point to and name pictures of vocabulary words they can see in the main scene; “What
happened in this picture? Where are the Super kids? Does Sandy like ping-pong?”
Encourage Ss to answer “The super kids are doing sports. They are in the auditorium. Yes, she does ”
To check Ss’ understanding, play guessing game (listen and number) with the Ss. The one who can

answer right will get one point.
Ask one S to come in front the class and do the story part by circling the picture then the others look at
her/him and listen to the story
Ask the the Ss questions “Can Beth juggle?” then give one point who can answer right
Have the Ss close their book and ask them one by one to mention the name of picture cards
Have the Ss to open their AB “open your AB and do exercise A & B in 10 minutes. The first one will get
3 points”
Have the Ss to open their SB and listen to the dialog and repeat. Make in pair to practice the dialog.

Have the Ss to open page 15 build it. Ask the Ss to repeat it twice or three times “Ok, now please open page 9,
listen to A and repeat”
Ask the Ss to answer orally number 1 until 4 one by one “So, how about Exercise A number 1? What’s the answer
number 1? Raise your hand if you know the answer! She likes gymnastics” (do it until number 4 and all of the Ss
have their turn) (do it the same with exercise B)
20 Ask the Ss to answer number 1 until 4 together by writing in 5 minutes. The first one who finishes will get 5 points.
“Ok, now write your answer on your book. I will count until 3 then you do it. 1..2…3! do it! The first one will get 5

Have the Ss to write the conversation in point B randomly “Now, write the conversation number 3! Does Joey like
soccer? No, she doesn’t. Do it in 10 seconds!”
Have the Ss to listen point C on page 9 “now listen exercise C number 1, listen and check! What’s the answer?

BALLS IN BOWLS!
Tools: bowls, hula-hoop, and balls [with sports names on it]
Procedures:
Prepare the sport balls in hula-hoop and divide the Ss into two groups

Ask S1 from each group to come in front the class and give them bowls. Read the Ss about the clues e.g. we can
play this sport alone, we use our foot to play this sport. We play it on the street! What sport is it?
Have the S1 of both group use their bowls to search the sport in the hula-hoop and scoop the ball. The one who
can scoop the ball will get point for his/her group
The winner is the one who get the biggest points

Tell the example to the Ss “Hello! My name is Mutiara Ivani Chairin Putri, My level is Jumpers talk. Today, I
want to tell you about my favorite sport. I bring soccer! My favorite sport is soccer. I have play soccer on
weekend. I like soccer because it’s fun and I can play it with my brothers and cousins in front of my house”
Have the Ss to practice 15 minutes then do presentation one by one
Communicative Practice(to practice the today’s learnt)
Pair work/group work/class survey/role play/presentation/class discussion/debate/story telling
Ask Ss to put their tool on the table and have them to do the presentation one by one

Have the Ss write their presentation before. Let the Ss write them at least 25 sentences, correct the Ss’ T–S
spelling, grammatical error and give them feedback
Have the Ss to do evaluation part in the activity book (listening part first then the writing part)
Tools: rolling papers [with sport names inside it] and bottle S–S
Procedures:
Prepares the rolling papers and put them inside the jar. Ask the Ss to sit down in circle and put the bottle in
25 the middle of the Ss
Rolling the bottle and when the bottle stops and point to S1, have S1 to pick one rolling papers in the jar
then read the clue inside the papers e.g. We can play it in the field. We use ball and we kick the ball!
Have the others to raise their hand if they know the answer. Have the S1 to choose who will say the answer
[S2]
If S2 can answer it right, S1 & S2 will get points and if S2 get the wrong answer, they don’t get the points
Do it until all the Ss get their turns
Wrapping up/Round-up (to assess)
