1. User Login
URL for Academic Management System (AMS)
http://acadserver.admin.iisc.ac.in/course/
All the users should use their individual IISc (Active Directory) Email IDs and passwords to
login to the Academic Management System (AMS). This is a Single Sign-On (SSO) facility
and gets the User email Id authenticated online from the Active Directory of the Institute.

Courses are deemed
approved by Advisor,
unless rejected.

Students

2.2. Activities
2.2.1. Communication regarding Course Registration Schedule
Students will receive a formal communication from Academics regarding the
Schedule for course registration.
2.2.3. Course Registration for Research Programs (M-Tech Research, PhD, Int.PhD)

1. Navigate to Registration -> Course
2. Go to Registered Course(s) grid.
3. From the list of registered courses, click on the Change link for the course that you wish
to change the registration type.
4. Choose the Course registration type from the drop-down list.
Change of registration type are allowed only during Course Registration and
course dropping schedule.
