Power BI: Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2

This document discusses three ways to use Power BI dataflows. The first way has Power BI fully manage the dataflow and data structure within Power BI's implicit data lake. The second way also has Power BI fully manage the dataflow but allows explicit access to an external Azure Data Lake Storage. The third way uses external dataflows managed by other tools like Azure Databricks, with Power BI consuming the output dataflow. Power BI's role can be self-service BI, managed self-service BI, or corporate BI depending on the configuration. These options can all be used simultaneously within a Power BI tenant.
