Dear sir,
Maanniya Vidhayak, Narsingarh vide their letter under reference has suggested to build the drain in the
Malikhedi village for various reasons. The proposal has been examined by the undersigned along with the
contractor’s rep. This village is situated in Ch 21+660 to Ch 21+760 on the project road. There are certain
houses, a school and certain agriculture fields along the road. However, there are certain encroachments in
the village on the proposed alignment of the drain.
There is a requirement of 155 m of drain on LHS and 220m drain RHS of the road. Thus, there is a
requirement of 375 running meter of drain to be constructed.
There is a provision of 3.25 km length proposed in the project. (Details enclosed)
236 running meter drain is balance to be constructed in Chitoda village (Ch 30+850 to Ch 31+200). This drain
length is surplus to the requirement in this village. Similarly, 100 running meter length is surplus in Mangroda
Village (Ch 26+850 to CH 27+100). Also, about 40 running meter length will be surplus in Gehukhedi village
(Ch 12+450 to Ch 12+800).
Thus, the total requirement of 375 running meter for Malikhedi village could be accommodated in the
existing sanction. There is no change of scope involved.
The proposed change is in the intrest of the project and will not have any financial implications. As per para 6
(last line) of the Schedule ‘B’, it will not be a change in scope. It is recommended to approve the said
proposal.
