Procedures
Start the class with a prayer. Introduce oneself as teacher for Personal Development.
Introductory Activity
Check the names of the students in the list.
10 mins
Give an overview of the subject Personal Development.
The teacher will distribute the self- concept inventory questionnaire.
Instruct the students on how to go about the questionnaire.
Activity
5 minutes Each student must answer the questionnaire honestly.
They will be given 5 minutes to answer and assess the result of their answers.
After the activity, the teacher will ask the following questions:
After answering the questionnaire, are you satisfied with the result?
Analysis
Based on the result of the questionnaire, what have you discovered?
10 mins
What do you think is being evaluated by the questionnaire?
Discuss the KEY POINTS on self-concept
Ideal self- is the self that you aspire to be.
Actual self- is one that you actually see. It is the self that has characteristics that you were
Abstraction nurture or, in some cases, born to have.
20 mins
Self-concept-refers to your awareness of yourself.
Self- knowledge is derived from the social interactions that provide insight into how others
react to you.

Application The students will choose a partner and share the result of their self-concept inventory

Conduct a simple disclosure about herself/himself

Students will make a reflection paper on his/her perception of the topic.
