INFORMATION TO THE CANDIDATES

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into the following Full Time
M.Sc. Programs for the academic year 2018-19 in JNTUH.

Admission to all above M.Sc. Programs will be made on the basis of performance in the entrance test conducted
by the JNT University Hyderabad Kukatpally, Hyderabad.

I. ADMISSIONS :
1) Admission to all M.Sc. programmes will be made on the basis of performance in the entrance test conducted by the JNT
University Hyderabad. The test will be of one hour duration consisting of 60 Objective type questions. Candidates securing equal
marks in the Entrance Test will be bracketed for the purpose of award of ranking and at the time of admission, age will be taken into
consideration, older candidates being given priority.

2) The candidates who are appearing final year of qualifying examination are also eligible to apply. However, at the time of
counseling they are required to produce Provisional /Degree certificate of qualifying examination for taking the admission.
II. RESERVATIONS :
Admissions will be made according to G.O.M.S.No.42, dt.18.05.2009
IMPORTANT NOTE: All the rules and regulations of admissions are subject to change (if any) as per the Government
Policy/Orders in force in post state bifurcation scenario.
III. FEE :
Tuition Fee: Rs.15,000/- per semester.
Rs.3000/- has to be paid as development fee per year.
Registration and Tuition Fee paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

IV. SCHOLARSHIP/STIPEND:

No scholarship / Stipend will be offered to the candidates by the University.

V. Candidate must indicate clearly the discipline applied for in the application and also on top of the Envelope containing the duly filled
in application specifying the serial number of discipline applied.

If the No. of discipline is not mentioned, the application will be rejected.

VI. The application must be accompanied by the following documents (attested copies only).

(a) Certificate of Educational qualifications (SSC/Intermediate/Original Degree Certificate).

(b) Study Certificates for last 7 years for determining local status.
(c) Residence Certificates from MRO if there is private study.
(d) Integrated Caste Certificate from M.R.O. in case of SC/ST/BC candidates.
(e) Caste Certificate from the institution last studied.
(f) Three self-addressed enveloped of 30 cm X 10 cm size each with Rs.5/- stamps.
(g) Certificate of Date of Birth (SSC or Equivalent)
(h) Transfer Certificate
(i) In case of disabled candidate, Certificate issued by Medical Board.
(j) Residence certificate of father or mother for a period of 10 years in Telangana State excluding the period of employment
outside A.P. from M.R.O. in case of Non-Local candidates.

VII. Any M.Sc. Program will be started only if the number of eligible / qualified candidates seeking admission to the program is not
less than 50% of the total intake of the program.

VIII. The University reserves the right to make alterations in intake and rules for admission.
IX. No hostel accommodation will be provided.
X. (a) Applications complete in all respects must be sent to:

(b ) Incomplete application will be summarily rejected. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

XI. If it is detected that a candidate has been admitted due to any mistake made inadvertently in the processing of applications
and during the admission stage, the University reserves the right to cancel such ineligible admission at any stage.
XII. Admissions will be closed within one month of the commencement of the first semester class work irrespective of the
vacancies.
XIII. If any dispute concerning admission in the courses of JNTUH arises, the jurisdiction shall remain with the Courts/Consumer
Forum in Hyderabad only.
XIV. The University will not be responsible for postal delay/loss in transit.

Note : Hall Tickets will not be sent by post to the candidates. It is the responsibility of the candidates to collect the
Hall Tickets on 7th and 9th July, 2018 from the Office of the Directorate of Admissions, JNT University Hyderabad,
Kukatpally, Hyderabad without which he/she will not be allowed for the Entrance Examination.

INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATE (WITH ORIGINAL HALL TICKET)

1. Candidates will not be admitted after the commencement of examination and not allowed to leave the hall until the end of the
examination.

2. The Hall Ticket shall be produced at the time of examination, failing which the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the
examination.

3. Darken the appropriate circles of 1, 2, 3 or 4 in the OMR sheet corresponding to correct answer to the concerned
question number in the sheet. Use HB pencil/Ball point pen (Blue or Black) only to darken the circles in the OMR
Answer sheet.

4. THE HALL TICKET SHALL BE PRESERVED TILL THE TIME OF ADMISSION - without which the candidate is not
eligible for admission.

5. No travelling expenses will be paid for journey undertaken for appearing for the Entrance Examination.

6. Adoption of any kind of unfair means at the time of examination or taking part in any act of impersonation will render the
applicant liable for cancellation of his/her script and forfeiture of his/her claim for appearing for the examination. Decision of
the Chief Superintendent of the Examination Centre shall be final in all these matters.

7. Issue of Hall Ticket and appearance at the Entrance Examination does not automatically entitle a candidate for admission.

8. Mathematical Tables, Calculators, Pagers, Mobile Phones etc., will not be allowed into the Examination Hall.
