Q3. Determine the magnitude of the resultant and its location with respect to origin O as shown
in Fig. [5]

Q4. An electric pole OA of height 30 m is held by three ropes to a pin at A and anchored at B, C
and D as shown in fig. If the tension in rope AC is 2.6 kN, determine the vertical force P exerted
by the pole on the pin at A. [5]

Q5. Determine the reactions at the contact points for the system shown. [5]
